Kevin Lane

A wide and varied policing and security career spanning 36 years; to include front line operational policing, criminal Investigations Department (CID), staff officer, project manager and risk assessor. Skills to include management of police budgets and, Human resources (HR) responsibility numerous police officers and civilian support staff.

A dynamic and resilient person able to manage multiple critical incidents and tasks effectively and proportionately, disseminate information and set priorities and objectives. A clear and direct communicator determined and robust. Highly developed inter-personal negotiating skills, at all levels, able to adapt to change, trustworthy and tenacious.

Highly respected with regards to event management and crowd disorder. A former Silver public order commander, and now Level 4 NVQ in Spectator Safety,  level 5 Diploma in Crowd Science and risk Analysis and Level 3 Education and Training. Vast experience of crowd and event management to include Olympics 2012, Cheltenham Festival, Royal International Air Tattoo Fairford (RIAT), Bulldog bash, “V” Festival and numerous sporting and other events.
